The stud was started in 1988 when I purchased my first registered Section A Ellerslea Sunrise with whom it all started as I enjoyed showing in hand and making all the new friends. My next purchase was Ellerslea James who was great to show and then Swinford Daisy, I briefley went into Section C ponies with Amy but my love for Section As came back and I purchased Colgele Ffion at Clwyd sale she has had 3 fillies and 1 colt. The first foal she had Pendross Calan Mai x Flydon Caradog has been sold to Patsy Gibbons in wales and her 2nd foal by Cefn Rebel Pendross Foxglove has been sold to Sweden, the remaining mare and last years colt, by Friars Rainbows end have been retained. Ponterwyd Bethan had 2 foals for me P Bridesmaid now with Mrs Irvings family and a colt P Renagade. She was then sold for riding for my friends grandaughter and was lost to colic, my friends then took my now gielding Cefn Rebel for the ridden and is now doing great see gallery page. My friend Katie Girdler has loaned me her mare Ffrethie Sapphire and I have kept her filly by Trefaes Taran and she is in foal for next year. I try not to keep too many but its hard to sell them on eventhough they have gone to very good homes.
